I just took a break from finishing Severance S2 to watch the first episode of The Residence. It brought to mind Only Murders in the Building, and I look forward to revisiting it!
Crazy to see that driving in silence is a TikTok trend. I've been doing it for years. Sometimes I just need quiet. If I can work at my desk in silence, why not drive this way too.
I couldn't get through the first episode of The Residence.
re: Podcast listening - Most of this happens while I'm driving. If I really get into an episode, I can listen to it while doing the dishes or on a walk.
I started the Residence while multi-tasking (re: playing too much solitaire) and it was definitely a weird start but then got fun! It is *very* quirky!)
1. On AI: I have had success with asking the AI for 10, 20, 50 ideas/headlines/whatever you're making. It gives me a starting point for brainstorming and sometimes sends my thoughts in a new direction.
I used to play quite a bit with actual cards! But alas, they don't function quite as well for the slots hit as multiplayer online racking up points and levels ;)

Oh yes! It does have that feel too! (Plus I love that there is birding 🤣)

maybe I'll give it another chance
Two of the thoughts I had while reading this:

2. I'm hoping to find analog versions of some of the digital soothing activities I do. Like, I wonder how solitaire with actual cards would go? This color-based Sudoku game has been in my cart for months now: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0055JIV20/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?smid=A1EC5XVP7SBJJV&psc=1
